New Miller County Judge sworn in Tuesday.
Cathy Hardin Harrison will be administered the oath of office at 10am at the Miller County Courthouse in Texarkana. Harrison is the first woman elected to that position in Miller County.
Harrison defeated the incumbent Roy John McNatt in the November election. She previously was County Tax Collector for Miller County for the past four years.
Harrison has also been employed in the corrections industry and real estate too.
The new Miller County Judge will preside over her first Quorum Court Meeting later in the month of January.
