New Elementary School Plans Approved at Pleasant Grove

 

New elementary school plans approved at Pleasant Grove.

New elementary school plans have been approved by the school board at Pleasant Grove in Texarkana. Voters approved a bond issue to fund the new school in a vote back in May of last year.

When built, the new facility will replace the current elementary on Richmond Road. That facility has been around since the 1950’s. The new building will house over 30 classrooms. It will also have a gymnasium and cafeteria among other specialty spaces and offices.

 

The new elementary will be located off of Gallaria Oaks.

The new school is expected to be ready for students in August of 2020.
