J.J. Watt among 4 Texans in Pro Bowl

In another hallmark of his comeback season, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will return to the Pro Bowl after a two-year absence.

The NFL released its Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday evening, and the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year will make his fifth appearance in the postseason exhibition game.

Watt has had a tremendous season with 14.5 sacks, 17 tackles for loss, and six forced fumbles. While Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack may outpace him for top defender honors, Watt’s play heralds that he is back from two seasons wrought with injury and rehabilitation.

The other Texans who earned selections were ILB Benardrick McKinney, DE/OLB Jadeveon Clowney, and WR DeAndre Hopkins.

The 2019 Pro Bowl kicks off from Orlando, Fla., from Camping World Stadium on Jan. 27 at 2:00 PM Central Time and will be televised live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Disney XD and simulcast on ABC. For tickets, visit NFL.com/ProBowlOnSale.
