Graduates to make TAMUT history

TEXARKANA — Texas A&M University-Texarkana will hold its fall commencement Friday, and the graduates at that commencement will be the first in the school’s history to graduate on campus.

A&M-Texarkana is holding its fall commencement exercises in the newly-opened Lois & Cary Patterson Student Center on the Bringle Lake Campus at 6:30 p.m.

The commencement is another first for a school that, “is a comprehensive regional university that provides students with academically challenging, engaging and rewarding educational experiences through quality teaching, scholarship, student support services, co-curricular programming, research and service,” according to its release.
