“Freaky Friday” Musical for Tiger Theatre Company Slated for January 25 Weekend

TEXARKANA, Texas – Join the Texas High School Tiger Theatre Company as they present their spring musical, “Freaky Friday.” 

Based on a novel by Mary Rogers, the 45-member cast will tell the hilarious story of an overworked mother, Katherine, and her teenage daughter, Ellie, who magically swap bodies the day before Katherine is due to be married.  With only one day to set things straight, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate each other’s struggles, learn self-acceptance and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and her daughter.  It is a delightful musical for anyone with a perfectly imperfect family.

Performances will be Friday and Saturday, January 25 & 26 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the John Thomas Theatre, 3941 Summerhill Road.
