TEXARKANA — The active number of coronavirus cases in Bowie County has dropped to 68, according to the Bowie County emergency operations center.
The Texas state department of health reports a total of 4,752 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bowie County since March 2020 with 2,255 probable cases. There have been 214 COVID-19 fatalities to date in the county.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention came out with new guidance advising that individuals who are fully vaccinated no longer need to wear a mask indoors or outdoors.
